- Lose 5lbs by the end of the month, through healthy eating and gentle exercise.
- Maximise the use of my wardrobe.
- Take some better pictures of myself and get a new layout for this site!
- Make an effort to get to know some new people.
- Read a book!
Just some simple little things but having them written down will prevent me forgetting!

They sound a lot like the things that I wouldn’t mind doing too, but I don’t think I’ll get them done anytime soon!
How are they going for you then?
Getting to know new peope is going ok.
Losing weight – not so good.
Planning to buy a camera at the end of this month so hopefully a new camera and new pictures!
And I have good intentions with the book reading but so far, nothing.
I’m working for 10 days straight atm though so I havn’t got much time to think of anything else. Sucks!!
nice goals! writing down your goals really does help you keep on track to achieving them, i find.
i can suggest a couple of really good books for you – because if you’re only planning on reading one or two, you want them to be EXCELLENT, right?
Try these, if you haven’t already read them:
‘The Lovely Bones’ by Alice Sebold (just amazing – I own a copy and re-read it about once every six months)
‘Survivor’ by Chuck Palahniuk (well, anything by him really, but I found this one particularly captivating)
‘The Pilo Family Circus’ by Will Elliott (not sure how easy this will be for you to find, he’s an Aussie author and it was published just a couple of years ago. It’s truly INCREDIBLE though, definitely worth looking for)
‘Eat Me’ by Linda Jaivin (hilarious, clever, erotic – VERY much worth reading)
If you read one of these, let me know what you think!
Thanks Gem! I’m gonna look a wee bit more into them! My reading isn’t going to well at the moment. I tend to read best whilst on buses and since I’ve been working so much recently I havn’t been busing back and forth from my parents. Hopefully later this week though!
Got a few Irvine Welsh books I plan to read but I’m always interested in finding new books, especially if they’re highly recommened!
